I’m gonna change up the post schedule a bit to go to maybe posts per week with larger sets of models instead of one per day. This will be more reflective of my batches of work instead of a slow trickle of it.
I’ve managed to adjust my workflow to go from 20-30 minutes per model to maybe 2-5 minutes. This will probably reverse a bit as I get better at sculpting and do more models with human facial features but otherwise these animal folk are easy mode.
Here we have a rabbit artificer, cleric, barbarian, monk, fighter, rogue and paladin.
Which one is your favourite?? I really like the monk – I enjoyed bending his ear. Speaking of – if you print these in FDM their ears are very flexible so with a heat gun you can reposition them however you like. The rogue has some main character vibes. The fighter has a neat pose. The barbarian’s club looks dangerous!
As of posting this I have made about 76 models 3d print ready with 48 left in my current batch which include halflings, elves, orcs, kobolds, humans and a few frog/rabbit straggles. Beyond that there are 379 more models staged and about 1060 AI images in my “AI Image Tinder” app that need to be sorted. A new version of the Rodin app should be out soon (maybe by the time this post is live it will be!!) which should improve the quality of the models significantly.
