I’ve been avoiding the really popular models of Elves, Humans, Dwarves etc… etc… I started to realize that the time investment needed to sculpt faces was wayyyy too much compared to how fast I could produce turtles, frogs, rabbits, hippos (spoiler) etc…
I’ve updated my methods a bit and I think I’ve improved a lot so for model #100 I wanted to try a human again. aside from the bug eyes and sorta cleft lip I think it worked out nicely especially compared to my previous attempts! At 32mm these features won’t be super noticeable and this tends to be the method that other creators use (although they have eyelids and lips down better). Hair lip adventurers is totally fine and should be a thing anyways!
This is 10% of my goal towards 1000 models generated, there are 1200 images processed into models so far. I have moved away from creature images and onto objects/weapons etc… I want to start using models other than SD3.5 because the results are all very similar but need to do some experimenting. I want to work on a script that will automatically take screenshots, name the files and drop them into the folder and maybe another that will do the programmatic model cleanup. This should save me a few minutes and then the simple characters will only take about 2-3 minutes to manually process. This will allow me to focus my efforts on sculpting and improving further – we’ll see where I get to at 1000 models generated.
