This week I’ve added two new human models, myconids and a ravenfolk/kenku wizard! Also I completely remodelled and republished my elf collection and published makes of minotaurs / frogfolk to use as cover photos for those collections and lastly another Owlbear that is on all-fours. So overall A TON of printing but not as much modelling – technically only 15 models done in the last week which is not quite enough for me to hit 1000 by the end of the year so I need to redouble my efforts.

On the printables and thingiverse front things are going OK. I’ve swapped the feature images in as many cases as I can to use printed models instead of renders.

For Thingiverse engagement is down somewhat but it seems like this has to do with the fact that the “human” collection is over 30-days old – which buries it somewhat.

For Printables, while I was suuuper excited about hitting 1000 downloads on Monday we’re already at 1100 so now I’m excited about 2000 and 10,000 on the horizon. For engagement it seems like the contests are a good way to showcase models that otherwise aren’t performing too well – I submitted my “clockwork owlbear” to the robot contest running and now it’s one of my most liked models.

I’ve gotta pick out some new models to work on, I’ve also got a new video that I need to edit but otherwise I need to get to work and make some more progress on the road to 1000 – as of right now we’re at 206 (not including all of the models I’ve redone or made without these AI tools).
