I spent some time yesterday on this mini for based on another one of Alfie’s drawings. It was a fun one to make with simple shapes and skip AI. It seemed like a robot / Modron so I decided Meowdron was a good name for it 🙂

You can see the full video of me making this mini here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/vod-meowdron?site=patreon

Alfie wanted this and these are so much fun to make and see his reaction to his creation coming to live. It’s a fun collab.

Source drawing from Alfie – he didn’t want the swirl of hair on the top on the finished model!
Render of the finished model

Files of this are published on the print sites, in Google Drive and I’ve also added it here for your convenience.

For printing. I doubt anyone will want to print this other than us but I’ve added presupported resin files and a 3mf file of the base model. You can use these or follow the usual I give:

  • FDM print on its back with tree supports at 30 degrees

  • Resin print at a -45 degree angle on the x-axis with automatic supports (since this mini is larger you might want to use medium supports)

That’s all for meow – thanks for following along 🙂

** If you have a kiddo or want a creature made share a comment here or in the chat and I’ll add it to my todo list. I’m making minis regardless so let’s make some fun minis for you too!
