I’ve made some solid progress on print testing. We have really nice fit between layers now. I reviewed some other terrain I have and reduced the wall size as well which should help with print time and filament usage.

I caved on doors and managed to cobble together a print-in-place design which seem to work really well. For those folks who want to print full parts this should be a nice option. I’m looking at a version that can slot into place for those interested in split level or flat stack builds too.

Now I just need to make a double door version for the exterior walls and the stair holes and I think we’re done with the untextured version. My hope is that this structure will be under two rolls of filament but we’ll see how it works out.

After this first version is done and published I’ll move onto the textured version. Any of these doors and other parts I’ll roll into the next structure – which I think will be something from Curse of Strahd – maybe the Durst House or House of Lament (or a multi-purpose manor house that can be used for any of them)

That’s all for now – next update should include files for the untextured Fort!
