For A Little While.
I’m going in for surgery this coming Tuesday and I don’t think I’ll be in any condition to update next Friday (let alone have any new content) but hopefully the following Friday (Oct 16) maybe I’ll have a little note. If not my wife or someone else will share a note to let you know that this was in fact the last weekly update.
If that’s the case I hope you’ve all had fun, learnt something or gained value with the time we’ve had. Because if not what was the point?
Attached here are some photos of the Death House that I finally painted (along with mini painted paintings). Most of these minis and props are free – there is also a free Death House model that I’ve published on the major print sites.
This week I’ve been really focused on this painting, publishing, posting etc… etc… but I did make a Curse of Strahd Father Donavich mini – unpublished as of writing this but maybe (hopefully) soon along with a Doru model and undead variants for both characters.
Based on the forearms Father D was a Space Marine in his past life – maybe maybe maybe this will be updated / changed upon publicationBeyond that I’ve really been focusing on prep for this surgery and long recovery. I bought a wedge pillow and tried sleeping on it (it’s awful). I bought a humidifier and found out that it can burns through an entire bottle of distilled water in a day. I’ve been trying to wrap up as much of my home projects and mailing out as minis as I can. I cut out coffee of all things which has been awful and wonderful. It’s amazing to feel completely level but I really miss the pick me up / happy coffee high in the morning. I was worried about some other side effects of cutting out coffee (some old folks like me might understand) but believe it or not Metamucil is a magic powder that will change your life even more than the frog from the book of mormon.
